Ground Floor

The charming living room is perfect for cozy evenings: a fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere and the spacious sofa area offers plenty of space for cuddling and playing.

The elegant kitchen with modern appliances (dishwasher, microwave, coffee and tea maker, electric stove with oven, etc.) is directly adjacent to the living room. The spacious dining room with flat-screen TV offers a unique view of the mountains. Direct access from the ground floor to the garden and the two terraces leaves you spoiled for choice: breakfast in the morning sun or at the cozy kitchen table? The recently renovated bathroom with rain shower and separate toilet meet all your needs for a relaxing time with the family.

Upper Floor and Basement

You can reach the upper floor via a staircase.

The four stylishly furnished bedrooms, equipped with flat-screen TVs, have direct access to the balconies—two of which offer enchanting, unique mountain views. To avoid bottlenecks in the morning and evening, there is an additional bathroom on the upper floor with a rain shower and a separate toilet.

Location

Chalet Austria is in a prime location on the outskirts of Golling in a quiet cul-de-sac with little traffic.

The center of Golling is a 10-minute walk away, where a range of popular restaurants, charming bars, shops, and supermarkets leave nothing to be desired. The Aqua Salza wellness and sauna paradise is also a 2-minute walk away. A playground and private parking spaces for guests of the Chalet Jagdhaus are located directly in front of the house. The Chalet Austria is also popular with dog owners: numerous opportunities for walking dogs in the immediate vicinity of the house delight not only furry friends, but also their owners. The adjacent Holidaysun apartment building offers the possibility of additional rooms if travel groups exceed 10 people.

Chalet Austria is located in Golling, a small town 30 km south of Salzburg.

By car
Golling is located on the Tauern motorway, one of the most important north-south connections in Austria.
For detailed route planning, we recommend using a route planner.
Please note that vignettes are mandatory on Austrian motorways.

By train
Both local and long-distance trains stop at Golling-Abtenau station.
The Chalet Jagdhaus is about a 10-minute walk from Golling-Abtenau train station. We are happy to organize a shuttle service.

By plane

We loved the town we stayed in.  Walkable to a nice grocery store and delicious restaurants including a 2 star Michelin which was absolutely fabulous.  Our porch was lovely to drink a beer in the evening on with views of the surrounding mountains.  Do not hesitate to book with Holidaysun.  Our group from Minnesota had a terrific stay!

Wir haben das Chalet Wiesngut in der Nähe von Salzburg für ein Wochenende gemietet. Das Chalet Wiesngut ist exzellent ausgestattet und besitzt ein wundervolles Interieur. Alles wirkt sehr gepflegt und hochwertig. Ferner besitzt das Chalet einen weitläufigen Garten mit einem schönen Pool sowie einen wunderbaren Blick auf die Berge, der zum Verweilen einlädt. Zudem sind die Besitzer Nina und Andy enorm freundlich sowie hilfsbereit und standen uns auch für Rückfragen und Tipps stets zur Verfügung.
