Description
Ground Floor
The spacious entrance area of Chalet Green Pastures leads to the spacious and particularly cozy dining room with a tiled stove, where guests can eat, chat, or play games together.
The adjoining kitchen offers everything you need to cater for the whole family: refrigerator, electric stove with oven, dishwasher, and coffee and tea maker. The stylishly furnished living room invites you to read a book or enjoy a movie night together—our smart TV offers you every possibility, and WiFi is available throughout the house. A small bedroom for two people is also ideal for older guests. The spacious bathroom with rain shower and toilet makes for a carefree stay.
Upper Floor
There are 4 further bedrooms on the upper floor, each with a double bed. (Ground floor: small bedroom for 2 people.)
All bedrooms impress with their tasteful combination of old wood, farmhouse chests, modern box-spring beds, and stylish accessories. A bathroom with double sinks and a small whirlpool tub not only meets your daily needs, but also creates a private wellness oasis for perfect relaxation after an eventful day. Behind this bathroom and only accessible from there is the fourth bedroom on the upper floor.
Garden
The spacious grounds offer plenty of room to relax, play, and enjoy yourself with an area of 1,500 m².
The private 4 x 8-meter pool with outdoor shower and sun loungers, a cozy terrace with barbecue facilities, furniture for a relaxed dinner under the stars, and the play area with swings and mud kitchens leave nothing to be desired. You can bake your own bread in the traditional bread oven. If you wish, our Kati, an enthusiastic hobby baker, will be happy to assist you. The only ones who will see you are the cows in the surrounding fields – the Wiesengut is in a secluded location with a view of the impressive mountains of the Salzburg Limestone Alps.

Apart from a farm where you can walk to get your fresh milk and breakfast eggs, a few scattered houses, and a couple of cows, you will find nothing but nature around the Chalet Wiesengut. Nevertheless, you can reach the festival city of Salzburg or Salzburg Airport within 15 minutes. It takes about 30 minutes to drive to the famous Salzkammergut, the lake district around Lake Fuschl and Lake Wolfgang. Chalet Wiesengut is also popular with dog owners: numerous opportunities for walks in the immediate vicinity of the house delight not only furry friends, but also their owners.

The Green Pastures chalet is located about a five-minute drive outside the small town of Hallein. Hallein is located approximately 15 km south of Salzburg.
By car
You can easily reach the Green Pastures Chalet via a paved, well-maintained access road, just 5 minutes from the Tauern motorway. The Tauern motorway is one of the most important north-south connections in Austria. For detailed route planning, we recommend using a route planner. Please note that vignettes are mandatory on Austrian motorways.
By train
Both local and long-distance trains stop at Hallein station. From there, you can reach the Chalet Wiesengut in about 10 minutes by car. It is not possible to travel directly to the Chalet Wiesengut by public transport. However, we are happy to organize a shuttle service for you.
By plane
The nearest international airports are Salzburg and Munich. Airport transfers are available, or alternatively we will be happy to organize a shuttle service for you. If you arrive by train or plane, we will provide you with a Fiat 500 free of charge for the duration of your stay.
