Description
Ground Floor
The open kitchen, equipped with high-quality appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, coffee and tea maker, electric stove with oven, and much more, is directly connected to the cozy dining and living room.
The bright rooms, large dining table, direct access to the terrace and covered lounge with large barbecue area – all invite you to cook, eat and chat together. The open fireplace in the living room lends a unique feel-good atmosphere to an evening in the house. The exclusive bathroom with whirlpool tub provides the perfect end to such an evening. A separate toilet ensures undisturbed relaxation.
First Floor
On the upper floor there are three bedrooms with balconies and direct views of the mountains and meadows.
Another bedroom, which can be accessed via one of the master bedrooms and is separated by a large wooden sliding door, is perfect as a fourth bedroom. A bathroom with shower and a separate toilet meet all the needs of modern vacationers. For younger guests, the separate playroom on the upper floor is an absolute highlight: a playhouse, numerous toys, and a foosball table will delight children and adults alike.
Garden
The 1000 m² garden, enclosed by a hedge, not only allows for carefree romping, exciting climbing on the apple tree, imaginative play in the tree house, and fun digging in the sandbox, but also well-deserved relaxation on the deck chairs.
The spacious terrace is perfect for a leisurely breakfast or barbecue with friends – fresh herbs for herb butter grow right in the garden. A covered lounge on the west side of the house offers an additional opportunity for romantic outdoor moments.
Location
The Foresters Chalet captivates with its secluded location amid the lush meadows of the Salzach Valley—within walking distance of popular excursion and Instagram destinations: the Bluntautal Valley and the Gollinger Waterfall.
The center of Golling is just a 5-minute walk away, where you will find a range of nice bars and excellent restaurants, shops, and supermarkets to suit every taste. The Aqua Salza wellness and sauna paradise and a playground are also within walking distance. Private parking spaces for guests are available in front of the chalet. The Foresters Chalet is also popular with dog owners: numerous opportunities for walks in the immediate vicinity of the house delight not only our furry friends, but also their owners.

The Foresters Chalet is located in Golling, a small town 30 km south of Salzburg.
By car
Golling is located on the Tauern Autobahn, one of Austria’s most important north-south connections.
We recommend using a route planner for detailed directions.
Please note that a vignette is required on Austrian motorways.
By train
Both local and long-distance trains stop at Golling-Abtenau station.
The Foresters Chalet is about a 10-minute walk from Golling-Abtenau train station. We are happy to organize a shuttle service.
By plane
The nearest international airports are Salzburg and Munich. Airport transfers are available, or alternatively, we are happy to organize a shuttle service.
